The tatsty nuts which fall from the tree through autumn, are soft shelled making easier to crack than some varieties. Trees are self-fertile.

A very good tree for the garden as it will only reach around 5m (15′) height in 10 years. What’s more, the delicious nuts are produced after only 2 to 3 years. The tree is particularly attractive, with shiny green leaves and sweetly fragrant blossom in midsummer. The sweet chestnuts will be ready to harvest in October. Supplied 60-90cm high (2-3′).
