An excellent midseason pear that is ready to harvest around the first week in October. ‘Invincible’ is known as a ‘butter pear’ as its smooth velvety flesh does not have grittiness found in some other pear varieties. For best results the fruits should be picked whilst still firm to touch, once done so the pear will keep for months and until at least Christmas. Bring them into the house as needed and they will ripen in a day or so when the rich aromatic flavour and delicious juiciness can be enjoyed to the full. Grown on ‘Quince A’ rootstock giving a tree with moderate vigour and promoting pears to fruit at an early age. BUY THIS PEAR TREE |
